Raziel is regarded as the King of the Angels and is the Angel of Balance. There are mentions of other Angels in books and tomes throughout Aria, but they do not hold dominion over any principle elements and are known as Lesser Angels. Lesser Angels are usually depicted as children whereas the Angels listed above are pictured as a great winged race that lived when Aria was first formed. Seven of their number defected and were henceforth known as the Archangels, they were cast to an eternity of torment in Inferno.
