Weapons
Stormcatcher
Takashi’s signature weapon that channels his powers over lightning. This sword’s unique ability allows him to catch and redirect most forms of energy. Anything that is too powerful will overwhelm him however, so he must be careful how he uses this ability.
Bio
Takashi is one who stands calm amidst the storm. Always level headed, Takashi responds well to dire situations, thinking rationally and quickly. He is a powerful fighter and a loyal friend making him an invaluable asset to the Saviors. He is not one to show his emotions very often but he does harbor strong emotions to those that he cares about. He places his duty to Baron above all else, and there is hardly a mission or task that is given to him that isn’t fulfilled.
Takashi is very muscular, it is somewhat hidden beneath his armor but one can tell by looking at him that he is incredibly strong. He has a stern face with sharp, angular features that can sometimes seem severe, but he is handsome. He has dark brown eyes and long brown hair that he usually ties in a ponytail. His armor is black and he sometimes wears a face mask, making him look like a ninja.
Born on the smallest planet of Fulgur he has seen constant war between the various factions within. His father was a strong soldier and left him far too early. His mother was overcome by illness and Takashi was sent to the Saviors at a young age. He has been with Baron for most of his life and views him almost as a father than a mentor. Takashi trained constantly and eventually returned to Fulgur and put an end to the conflict. Once the situation in Fulgur was resolved he returned to the Saviors and continued to help others.
Inspirations & Insights
His inspiration came from several characters, mostly those who were the strong silent type, someone who was incredibly capable and determined to fulfil their mission. It was a mix of people like James Bond and his more serious side, Sylvester Stallone from Demolition Man or even Captain America in his determination to serve and protect. Having grown up with Japanese video games I also decided to take reference from ninjas for his appearance with black armor and face masks, but mixed with the samurai ponytail. All in all Takashi is a force to be reckoned with as will be made clear in later novels.
